Lawyer at the Cameroon Bar for 35 years, Mr. Dieudonné Happi is a Principal Partner of the DH Avocats law firm, which he founded in 1985. A graduate from the University of Angers, he is a former member of the Bar Council and former representative of the President of the Bar in the provinces of the Far North, North and Adamaoua. He currently assumes the role of Vice-President of the Governance Committee of the African Football Confederation (CAF).

Recognized for his exceptional qualities as a lawyer, his unfailing dedication and his integrity, Mr. Happi has built a solid reputation in his field over the years. A fine strategist and outstanding litigator, he notably distinguished himself by his interventions in several highly publicized cases, in particular, the cases of the 'Operation Épervier' in which he notably represented leaders of the Urban Community of Douala, of the Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering (CNIC) or Cameroon Airlines.

Dieudonné HAPPI has been able to attract a business clientele of choice within the firm, made up of several national and international companies that operate locally, regionally and internationally in various sectors of activity (insurance, construction and public works, real estate, hospitality, public companies of industrial and commercial nature, banking, financial, transport of petroleum products, machinery and heavy machinery rental, sports agency).

 

In September 2017, Mr. Happi was appointed by FIFA to head the Normalization Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT). As such, his mission was to revise the statutes and other regulatory texts of FECAFOOT, to organize the electoral process leading to the installation of a new executive and to manage the current affairs of the federation. .

 

As part of his mandate as President of the Normalization Committee, which lasted 15 months, Mr. Happi notably served as the main interlocutor between international football bodies (FIFA, CAF) and the highest authorities in Cameroon.
